Riderman’s surging popularity can only be matched with his unequalled success over the last few years. That he has a tight grip on rap music in Rwanda is indisputable. His recent success at Primus Guma Guma Super Star notwithstanding, Riderman’s unbelievable fame and esteem have been echoed by everyone including his fellow and rival musicians.
And one such musician is Ama G The Black who has gone ahead and declared that Riderman would easily qualify to be a member of parliament were he to stand for election. Ama G, who is a long term admirer of Riderman, believes the rapper would easily beat anyone who would stand in his way.
Meanwhile, rumors that Ama G had quit Riderman’s Ibisumizi label have slowly died down after neither of the two refused to give an official statement on the matter. The momentum of the rumors had increasingly grown after it was reported that Ama G was not happy with Riderman’s victory at Primus Guma Guma Super Star.
