Entertainment faces to watch out for in 2014

The buzz around town is that Meddy and The Ben may be landing in the country soon. It was largely rumored that the stars would be making an appearance last year in December during their world tour dubbed Ndi Uw’i Kigali.

But that as far as it goes – Rumors. This year definitely holds a lot in store as far as entertainment in concerned. Here we look at the likely faces that will cause a stir and why – by the way it’s highly doubtful the aforementioned pair will come anytime soon.

Social Mula

Be very scared – or excited – when a man called Alex Muyoboke takes up the mantle of managing an upcoming artist. Tom Close, Dream Boyz and Urban Boyz would testify to this. From the most of humble beginnings to national and regional celebrities, these three were, at one point, in the hands of Alex Muyoboke as their manager.

Although all the three relationships collapsed acrimoniously, it would be sacrilegious not to acknowledge that Muyoboke propelled them to a level they would have never attained. This year should be Mula’s turn to step up to the challenge and acquire the same if not more elevated status.

Dr. Jiji

How this man failed to land even a single nomination at this year’s Salax Awards is beyond normal. But never mind that. Jiji worked tirelessly throughout 2013 and if anything being snubbed will only serve to motivate him more.

With more than five quality videos, to his name, he looks set to continue this year with his remarkable work. Watch out!

Already a nominee at Salax Awards, Alioni did more than enough last year to convince doubting Thomases how competent she is. Few would argue that the curvaceous star deserved the nomination as her efforts are visible even to the blind eye. She not only deserves credit, but also deserves a nomination in Primus Guma Guma Super Star as well.
