Afro beat singer Uncle Austin has told tukabyine.com that he is not worried one bit about the sluggish pace at which he’s getting votes at Salax Music Awards. Austin lies third in best afro beat category behind Senderi International Hit and King James but he feels he will slowly pick up.
And with results quickly trickling in, Senderi has opened up an early lead with over four thousand votes so far while Austin lying a distant third with less than two thousand votes. But the star says things will change as voting is still going on.
He said, “I know people will quickly jump to conclusions but there is still time to catch up. I am not worried at all.”
Salax Music Awards will be staged in March meaning barely a month separates now and the D-day.
Meanwhile Riderman, who was being edged by his closest rival Bulldog in Best Hip Hop category, has slowly picked up with the two heavyweights looking to stage a two-horse race. Riderman has so far garnered over five thousand votes only two hundred fewer than Bulldog.
