Rwanda’s celebrated comedian Arthur Nkusi aka Rutura has revealed that his father supports and encourages him in everything he does in life.
The comedian and cum radio presenter disclosed this to tukabyine.com.
“I am lucky that my father supports and encourages me to keep doing what I do best,” says Nkusi.
Nkusi calls on parents to mentor children into embracing their God given talents.
Arthur’s talent so far has earned him huge sums of money from giant telecommunication companies like Airtel and MTN.
The comedian’s passion for entertainment emerged from admiring his father’s career. The father, Kennedy Mazimpaka, is a radio presenter, actor and one of the pioneers of city disc jokers.
The veteran radio personality worked with Radio Flash and currently is into movie industry with Mashilika troupe.
Arthur started standup comedy as a profession in 2010 at Ishyo arts center with only few comedians under one group known as Komedy Knight Boys.
The group now boasts of 10 comedians who have performed alongside East Africa’s celebrated Comedians like Uganda’s Anne Kansiime.
