Female singer Young Grace has told tukabyine.com that she is grateful Knowless Butera stepped down in this year’s edition of Primus Guma Guma Super Star. Knowless, who cited a clash in her private timetable with that of PGGSS, stepped down which gave room for Young Grace to be picked into the reality TV show.
Her inclusion however caused a few eyebrows to be raised with many saying she wouldn’t be the one next in the pecking order ahead of Alioni and Ciney. But Grace, who will be entering the competition for only the second time, thinks Knowless did her a huge favor.
She said, “I really want to thank her (Knowless) for stepping down. I don’t know if she knew I was going to replace her but I am grateful she quit. I will do my best to appease my fans in every way that I can, I promise.”
Meanwhile there is talk that Knowless might have backed out as a result of her failure last season when she invested heavily only to lose out on Riderman. Pundits have argued that Knowless’ chances had become slimmer with now the inclusion of rapper Jay Polly who has been heavily tipped to win it.
