We are almost nearing the last corner of 2012 as 2013 looms near. Well at least the Mayan calendar seems to have been wrong on the date of the end of the world! So why not get out and celebrate a little then? Whether or not that excitement stems from the fact that the earth did not collide with the meteor foretold by the Mayans or not, the East African party is the place to be on 1st January 2013.
Organisers have already confirmed that it will be a hit, bigger and better with Burundian star Kidumu and Azonto set to be the main guests, while Tom Close, Knowless, Jay Polly, Uncle Austin, Kamichi and other local artistes will also make a showdown.
Nzeyimana Lucky, one of the members of East African Promoters who are in charge of the organization talked to tukabyine.com and said that only a few sketchy details are remaining and expressed great anticipation ahead of the concert. “It’s an annual event as you know it and we want to make it bigger this time around, so we invited Kidumu because he has a big fan base here,” he said.
The show shall start from 4pm, with entry fee fixed at 2,000 Rwf while those aspiring VIP tickets will part with 5,000 Rwf.
