Former Miss France 2000 Sonia Rolland has reiterated that she will be making more trips to Rwanda more frequently as she has special plans for her motherland. Sonia was speaking exclusively to tukabyine.com immediately after the conclusion of Kigali Fashion week that closed the curtains at the weekend. The pompous function that was attended by renowned fashion designers ran for three consecutive days and Sonia was one of the many invited guests that graced the event.
She said at the end of the show, “I really like everything I saw, there is a good potential in designers. We need to make them grow up in creations. Some have experience, others don’t. They know each other well. In Rwanda fashion industry is a wake.”
Asked if she would be coming back soon, the beauty said, “Of course I want to come back. I have some plans for this country, like production of films. We can do a lot in Rwanda. There’s volunteers, creativity, human potential. I saw that tonight. But you know I am an actress so it depends [my coming back] on my plans because I am busy also, but I hope I will be back soon, next month maybe.”
