Rwanda’s heavyweight musician Tom Close’s album launch flopped. The flop is blamed on sound systems in poor condition.
Tom Close was supposed to sing live using music instruments like Key boards, drums and pianos but technicians couldn’t fix the problem.
“I had planned the best for my fans, intended to sing live but the sound system failed me,” said Tom Close.
Tom Close defended the flop by saying that his show received ardent fans of his, which was the primary aim.
Tom said the small turn up will not affect his pockets because the show was sponsored by giant companies like MTN and Bralirwa.
Urban Boyz, Naason and TBB CREW thrilled the crowd at the launch.
The show was well organized and protected by police forces although most of the chairs guarded were empty.
