Rapper Keko Town
Two Ugandan super rappers Keko and Navio were nominated for the upcoming 9th annual Channel O Africa Music Video Awards.
Navio got nominated in the category of “Most Gifted East Africa Video Of the year. He will be competing with Keko, Campmulla, SautiSol, AY and Knaan for the same accolade.
Ugandan female hardcore rapper Keko was nominated in two categories, most gifted East African video of the year and Female’s Most Gifted Video of the year.
Keko will be competing with other female musicians like Lizha Jame(Mozambique), Bulelwa Mkutukana(South Africa), Month Cheddah and Tiwa savage for female most gifted video of the year.
Last year, How We do It’ Remix by Keko, Moze Radio and Weasel took the Most Gifted African East Video.
Keko’s video of make you dance which has been playing over and over on channel O is the one picked to compete for the award. Navio’s One and only qualified him for the competition.
In Navio’s category he will be battling with super stars K’nan, Camp Mulla and Tanzania’s AY which is a stiff category.
The 9th Annual Channel O African Music Video Awards will be held in a Kliptown of South Africa, Soweto.
