While speaking to Kigali UP organizer Mighty Popo aka Murigande live on KT Radio 96.7 confirmed the rapper’s presence in the festival.

“We are bringing rapper Didier Awadi to share with us his skills in music and other music icons like Rhonda Benin,” says Mighty Popo.

Popo added that, local musicians are expected to exchange ideas, share contacts and mostly learn from legends to boost Rwandan music industry.

The music festival also acts as a platform for regional, international and local artistes where they meet and share music experiences.
