Rappers Young Grace and Fearless

The two female hard core rappers Keza Stamina aka Fearless and Young Grace are in a battle of words over who is the country’s hip hop queen in the country.

According to Tukabyine.com in mid-July when rapper Young Grace declared herself as queen of hip hop music in the country, she made the statement during a radio talk show.

She also mentioned that she is the queen of hip hop music and no other female artist can be compared to her giving an example of fellow rapper Fearless that she is better as a video vixen than a rapper.

This did not go well with other established rappers like Paccy and Fearless who also shot back at Young Grace live on KT Radio last Friday in a show dubbed The spotlight.

Rapper Fearless furiously responded “Being a queen of hip hop comes from actions not words, so Young Grace is just building castles in the air and she can never develop musically with such a shallow mind,”

Fearless started with music in 2012 and found rapper Young Grace already an established music star with some awards under her belt.

Plans to talk to young Grace were futile as she couldn’t answer the phone. Young Grace is more experienced musically than Fearless and she has participated in numerous music competitions like Guma Guma and others.

Commentators say lack of cooperation among female artists is one of the challenges hindering development of female musicians in the country especially those doing hip hop.
